Phân tích yêu cầu: Chủ đề đưa ra viễn cảnh con người cập nhật tin tức qua Internet thay vì đọc báo hay xem TV và yêu cầu người viết đánh giá đây là sự phát triển tích cực hay tiêu cực. Với loại chủ đề này, người viết có thể phát triển bài luận theo 3 hướng khác nhau:

• Đây là sự phát triển tích cực và và đưa ra luận điểm chứng minh bằng các lợi ích từ việc cập nhật tin tức qua Internet.
• Đây là sự phát triển tiêu cực và đưa ra luận điểm chứng minh qua các tác hại từ việc cập nhật tin tức qua Internet.
• Đây không hoàn toàn là sự phát triển tích cực hay tiêu cực và phân tích cả hai mặt lợi – hại từ việc cập nhật tin tức qua Internet.

Lưu ý: Người viết cần nêu rõ quan điểm cá nhân khi trả lời câu hỏi trong đề bài nhằm tránh mất điểm ở tiêu chí Task Response. Vì đây vẫn là dạng bài Opinion essay, bài viết không cần hướng tới sự cân bằng giữa hai việc cập nhật tin tức qua Internet và qua đọc báo/xem TV mà cần tập trung vào phân tích luận điểm chứng minh cho quan điểm cá nhân của mình.

In today’s digital age, individuals are increasingly turning to the internet as their primary source of news instead of conventional platforms like newspapers and TV programs. Although some argue that this trend might have unfavorable impacts, I believe this is a positive development.

Undoubtedly, one positive aspect of using the internet to acquire news is its sheer convenience. In contrast to traditional newspapers and television shows, which have restricted reach and availability, the internet allows quick and simple access to a diverse range of news sources across the world anytime, anywhere. With just a few clicks, we can access news articles, opinion pieces, and reports from a multitude of sources, including mainstream media outlets, news websites, and social media platforms. Additionally, thanks to the internet, people now could tailor their news sources to match their interests, preferences, and values. For example, we can subscribe to news channels, follow journalists on social media, or utilize filters to curate a personalized news feed, which seems not feasible to the one-size-fits-all approach of traditional newspapers. 

Obtaining news online is not only convenient, but it is also economical and environmentally friendly. Unlike traditional newspapers and television programs, which rely on subscription fees or advertisements to stay in business, the internet offers a wide range of free news sources, such as news websites, social media, and blogs. Rather than purchasing physical copies of newspapers or paying for cable or satellite TV subscriptions, we may now receive news material online for free or at a fraction of the cost. This not only saves us money but also reduces paper and energy consumption, thus contributing to a reduced carbon footprint, which in turn lowers our environmental impact. 

In conclusion, I believe that getting news through the internet is a positive development that has the potential to greatly benefit individuals and society as a whole.
